  • You may now render links to previews in popups. As always you can change this behaviour in the settings of your shop.
  • We added more choices if your shop will show a preview video of your collections. You may now also select two or three months.
  • You may now enable payment plans again, that you disabled earlier. Before that you needed yo re-create them.
  • You may now decide if you show the names of payment plans to your customers. Otherwise the name is for your internal use only.
  • If you show a “Coming next”-area, we’ll also show a blurred preview video now. You may enable this area in the settings of your shop.
  • We now send you an email notification once a payment is on the way to you.

  • We added the top Google Analytics referrers to your site to the dashboard
  • You can now choose to show the teasers of the first update page or the first two update pages instead of all/none or the last 2/4 weeks. This is quite useful for shops that are not updated frequently.

“published at” with time

In case you missed (w13/2020)

  • We added a countdown to the next update at the “coming next” page.
  • We’ll now auto rotate imagesets you upload.
  • We made the menu sticky in our traditional template.
  • We implemented events on Google Analytics, so downloads are tracked
  • We implemented discounts, so you can lower the price of your updates for special events (Eastern, Black Friday, etc…)

In case you missed (w01/2020)

  • We added a todo list for you to gain more sales in your dashboard. We’ll add more items in the future. In general the dashboard got a remake.
  • We added the possibilty to add complete files as teasers.
  • We raised the time allowed for teaser videos.
  • When creating/editing an update the publishing date is a calendar now instead of select fields.
  • In cooperation with our partner copyright-police.com we implemented the possibility to send DMCA Takedown Notices right from your merchant interface.

In case you missed (w49/2019)

  • We’ve been busy revamping the merchant interface in the last couple of weeks. But now it’s complete and better, faster and more intuitive than before.
  • We now have the possibility to play teasers when hovering with the mouse. Since this means preloading a lot of movies it’s only enabled on desktop browsers (and not on mobile devices). Take a look at Amateur Bondage to get the idea. You’ll also notice the teasers are collages of one second snippets.
  • The video player has been pimped. We now remember the last resolution (1080p, 720p, etc…) and the volume level the client selected.
  • Contact form spamming is a big deal these days. We implemented guards to detect and block spammers.
  • We downsized all teaser videos, so the clients have the possibility to view smaller teasers. Previously all teasers were only available in the format the merchant uploaded, e.g. when a 4k video has been uploaded previously only a 4k teaser video was available. Now we create 4k, 1080p, 720p and 480p videos.
  • Vouchers have been deployed to all shops. Now you can accept payments via cash or any form from a client. After receiving the money create a voucher code for this client so he can ‘buy’ this payment plan without paying for it (again). We’ll bill you our part of the revenue share plus VAT.
  • The country of the client is now added to all purchase notifications.

In case you missed (w41/2019)

  • You can now hide models and pages from non subscribers. Using this technique you can set up bonus memberships for your other sites at Shopmaker.
    1. Create a cheap payment plan at site A, usable with promotion code only.
    2. Create a page at site B, linking the promotion code payment plan from site A. Hide this page from non subscribers
    3. As soon as a client subscribes to site B, the page is visible for him and he may subscribe to site B for a cheaper price.
  • You now have a statistic of cancellation reasons for your clients at your sales statistics.
  • For merchants using the gamma template: You can now add an adult confirmation dialog to your site that is shown to clients prior entering the site. See an example here.
  • As we announced earlier we’ll shut down the matomo server soon, so please get a Google Analytics ID soon and enter that to your shops preferences to get advanced statistics.
