New: Add a collection limit to your payment plans (Update)

Its brandnew: From now on you are able to add a collection limit to your payment plans. This means that a client will be able to download just a limited set of your collections. Think of it as a “test account”. As an example: Add a non-recurring payment plan for a very low price ($4,95) and add a collection limit of 2:

Add collection limit

Add collection limit

By buying this subscription the client will be shown this is a “limited payment plan”:
The client joins the site

The client joins the site

After the join process is complete the client will have to “unlock” every collection (up to the limit of course):
Unlock collection

Unlock collection

And take a look here in the My subscription view:
List of unlocked collections

List of unlocked collections

If the client reaches the limit he will be shown a message like this:
The limit is reached

The limit is reached

So the client will have access to the unlocked collections untill his subscription expires. After this all the hocus-pocus is over (and of course we hope he subscribes to a “real” payment plan)!

This is a feature request by sexytiedgirls.com, girlsinsteel.com and tramplingsite.com!

As always we appreciate any feedback on new features. Just tell us what you think of it and how we could improve it!

One thing is left I forgot to tell you: You have to unlock this feature in the shop preferences!

Update
This feature is enabled by default now.

Warning if the file is already connected to a collection

Sometimes connecting media to collections can be some kind of thrilling. Sometimes you create a collection and add media to it you connected to some other collection earlier. Even if the files are deleted from you FTP folder as soon as they are processed by our server no one holds you back to re-upload it. Well, we thought of it and we don’t want to disallow you to have several collections with the same media in it. What we can do is to warn you, like this:

Warning if the file is already connected to a collection

Warning if the file is already connected to a collection

So you know when there is something doubled in your shop. By the way, we only check for the filename and not the content of the files (tell us if you know of a reason why we should do so :)). This is a feature request by sexytiedgirls.com, girlsinsteel.com and i-love-bondage.com.

shopmaker.com download finally launched!

We finally launched shopmaker.com download. Well, at least you can get a first impression of shopmaker.com download at girlsinsteel.com since this is the first shop to try our new product! Next to every collection the client finds the new link “add to cart” as you can see here:

Add to cart!

Add to cart!

After you added the collection to your cart you can continue shopping or go to checkout:

At the moment you can use anonymous credit card payment as well as anonymous paysafecard to pay your content. Later we plan to also allow payment with sofort├╝berweisung.de. The next task is to enable other shops and to bring up clipspool.com! Stay tuned!

Creation of “collection previews” completly overhauled

A much desired feature has just been released. Now we permanently store the way images are arranged within a “collection preview” and which of these images have a link attached:

The preview has been saved!

The preview has been saved!

At the same time we have completely overhauled the creation of “collection previews”. From now on it should be far easier for us to build new “preview themes”. And we edited a couple of existing themes in order to allow for more themes to accept upright images (Imagesets):

Improved preview generation

Of course, these changes are backward compatible, i.e. previews which have been created in the past are still displayed correctly. This has been a feature request of girlsinsteel.com, i-love-bondage.com, my-bondage-girl.com, sexytiedgirls.com und adeleschwarz.com.

Bugfixes 1

  • After you had clicked on re-create in the collection preview, the preview was generated anew in the background – but it wasn’t shown to the merchant. Instead of that the old picture was loaded. This has been fixed now. Furthermore there is now a link for manual reloading (of the picture):
    Reloading collection preview

  • After you had edited a runtime, the status recurring / non recurring wasn’t saved. This has been fixed now. girlsinsteel.com advised us of these bugs.
  • In the future there will be a few more buttons. That’s why we stripped down the merchant menu. Several entries were adjusted to submenus. Moreover we included a link to Piwik, the statistic tool.
