New: It’s now possible to select only available models when editing collections:This is a feature request by sexytiedgirls.com.
Its brandnew: From now on you are able to add a
collection limit to your payment plans. This means that a client will be able to download just a limited set of your collections. Think of it as a “test account”. As an example: Add a non-recurring payment plan for a very low price ($4,95) and add a collection limit of 2:
My subscriptionview: If the client reaches the limit he will be shown a message like this: So the client will have access to the unlocked collections untill his subscription expires. After this all the hocus-pocus is over (and of course we hope he subscribes to a “real” payment plan)!
As always we appreciate any feedback on new features. Just tell us what you think of it and how we could improve it!
One thing is left I forgot to tell you: You have to unlock this feature in the shop preferences!
This feature is enabled by default now.
Sometimes connecting media to collections can be some kind of thrilling. Sometimes you create a collection and add media to it you connected to some other collection earlier. Even if the files are deleted from you FTP folder as soon as they are processed by our server no one holds you back to re-upload it. Well, we thought of it and we don’t want to disallow you to have several collections with the same media in it. What we can do is to warn you, like this:So you know when there is something doubled in your shop. By the way, we only check for the filename and not the content of the files (tell us if you know of a reason why we should do so :)). This is a feature request by sexytiedgirls.com, girlsinsteel.com and i-love-bondage.com.
You are now able to generate “Free Galleries” by enabling
Promo in the “Edit collections” (Quickedit) view:
From now on it is possible to choose the “publish at” date from two possibilities: This is a feature request from sexytiedgirls.com.
The Join-Layout has been improved significantly:
A much desired feature has just been released. Now we permanently store the way images are arranged within a “collection preview” and which of these images have a link attached:
At the same time we have completely overhauled the creation of “collection previews”. From now on it should be far easier for us to build new “preview themes”. And we edited a couple of existing themes in order to allow for more themes to accept upright images (Imagesets):
Of course, these changes are backward compatible, i.e. previews which have been created in the past are still displayed correctly. This has been a feature request of girlsinsteel.com, i-love-bondage.com, my-bondage-girl.com, sexytiedgirls.com und adeleschwarz.com.
In your merchant admin interface you will now find how often a certain “cancellation reason” has been given by your customers who cancelled their membership. This information has been logged since November 2008.
It is now possible to click the “cancellation reasons”, in order to find out for what period of time those customers have been active who selected this reason:
And we would like to use today’s blog entry to point out the fact that you can generate your own “cancellation reasons”. It should be far easier to meet your customers’ needs, if you know why others have cancelled their subscription. Here are a couple of examples:
- Based on the previews I expected better material
- I expected a higher ratio of videos
- I expected a higher ratio of imagesets
- I expected more nudity
- Too few updates
After we have held us back respective updates for the last two weeks, there is an entire bag full of innovations today:
- The forum. sexytiedgirls.com wished to have a forum which is all-over integrable for the existing shops.
- Localization: At the request of my-bondage-girl.com there is now a possibility to quote free text in German and English, how you might know it from stealthID.com. You can translate:
- Title and description of a collection
- Name and description of models
- Cancellation reasons
- A bunch of many little bugfixes. We want to let you know that this probably was the biggest software-update in the history of shopmaker.com. Many more to come 😉
